Stainbusters Guaranteed Deep-Down Rug Cleaning
Our rug cleaning process: Rug Cleaning Services – Rugs Cleaned By Professionals (warwickcarpetcleaners.co.uk)
- 1. Inspection – Rugs come in all kinds of materials and colours so it’s important to choose the right method of cleaning for your rug. Dyes are tested for colourfastness and if necessary the rug is prepared by setting the dyes, and each rug is inspected for any pre-existing conditions e.g. carpet moths
- 2. Remove dust – most rugs harbour a vast amount of dirt, dust, allergens and debris that has become trapped in the fibres over time. This can’t be removed by conventional vacuuming or by shampooing the rug as the dirt will turn to mud which sticks to the pile, discolours the fabric and is impossible to remove. We use a powerful pile agitation method to remove deep down dust, dirt and debris.
- 3. Odour removal – We remove any odours from the rug, such as pet urine, mould and mildew, or insect infestations using natural methods and environmentally friendly products. Please be aware it may be difficult to remove all odours from rugs with latex backings.
- 4. Clean / Wash – We use cold water wash with specialist solutions and soft brushes to remove any surface oils
- 5. Residue rinse – Dirt is then be removed from your rug using our rinsing process. We utilise water at a gentle flow rate to remove any residue on your rug from the cleaning process.
- 6. Protection (optional) – Our rug protector is then applied to create a barrier for the rug fibres to prevent re-soiling and staining. This allows you easily to mop up any future spillages.
- 7. Dry – Our specialist cleaners dry the rug using air driers at a low temperature to prevent the rug from shrinking.
- 8. Finish – After the bathing process rug fringes are washed an additional time, and then dried using the techniques above. The rug is then finished by grooming it with a brush.
