The customer of a beautiful period property on the outskirts of York was renovating the whole property and had uncovered Victorian tiles in the kitchen area. Victorian tiles should last the test of time however these types of tiles were subject to Victorian building practice of the time and damp issues and salt problems (efflorescence) are common with these tiles. The customer was delighted with the results after cleaning their Victorian tile floor which was looking dull, dirty and generally un-inviting. Thinking they would need to replace the floor they contacted Stainbusters first to see if could be improved.
